Over the last few years I’ve tried to be responsible. I purchased those eco-friendly bags you now see everywhere and felt very satisfied and slightly smug as I rolled my bagged groceries out to my car. The problem was that my success ratio for 1) getting the bags back in my car, and 2) remembering to take them in with me to the store, was spotty. Their size made them less than handy and mindless.
Enter my new favorite things! These cute little bags available at Central Market! The great thing about these bags is that they are tiny when they are not in use and are so easy to just throw in your purse. That way they are available whenever you need them, without thought or planning. That’s my kind of bag! They accommodate just the right amount of groceries, and they are sturdy and affordable. In the picture above I’ve shown it all squeezed up for your purse (in red) and full of groceries (black). I come home, unpack my groceries, then toss my cute little bags back in my purse. So easy!
